EDUCATION

OPPORTUNITY

STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education has increasingly become a global priority, yet there remains a substantial gap in K–12 engineering curriculum resources that are both classroom-ready and standards-aligned. Teachers often lack accessible, hands-on materials that can engage students in problem-solving, critical thinking, and design processes early in their academic journey. TeachEngineering recognized the growing demand for free, high-quality, project-based engineering content designed for school-age learners and educators. Logic Nosh saw this as an opportunity to build a comprehensive, scalable, and intuitive platform that could bridge the divide between real-world engineering concepts and classroom implementation.

EDUCATION

APPROACH

Logic Nosh approached the development of TeachEngineering with a focus on educator empowerment, classroom usability, and pedagogical alignment. The platform was designed as a searchable, standards-based repository of engineering curriculum materials, including lesson plans, activities, units, and maker challenges. A robust filtering system allows teachers to search by grade level, subject, time duration, NGSS/Common Core standards, or engineering discipline. Each resource includes teacher guides, student handouts, and assessment suggestions. To support classroom delivery, we ensured fast loading, printable materials, and mobile-friendly layouts. The backend system allows contributors from universities and STEM education groups to easily upload, update, and manage content. Every element of the interface—from resource cards to lesson navigation—was designed with real educators and K–12 classrooms in mind.

EDUCATION

SOLUTION

Logic Nosh developed a full-featured educational content platform tailored to the needs of K–12 teachers and STEM curriculum developers. Key components include:

  • Smart search and filtering tools for finding age-appropriate and standard-aligned materials
  • Detailed resource pages with lesson objectives, preparation steps, materials lists, and printable documents
  • Responsive and print-optimized UI/UX for flexible in-class and remote teaching
  • Curriculum contributor backend portal with workflow tools for peer-review and publishing
  • Metadata tagging system to connect content with engineering fields, learning standards, and timeframes
  • Integration of maker challenges and project-based learning formats to support student creativity and design thinking

By combining user-centered design with robust educational infrastructure, Logic Nosh enabled TeachEngineering to fulfill its mission: making engineering education accessible, hands-on, and exciting for all learners.

EDUCATION

IMPACT

TeachEngineering has become a trusted national and international resource for K–12 educators seeking free, hands-on engineering curriculum. With over 7,000+ resources used in millions of classrooms, the platform has impacted students across all 50 U.S. states and in many countries abroad. By giving teachers the tools to deliver engaging, inquiry-based STEM instruction, TeachEngineering has helped spark interest in engineering at an early age, diversify participation in STEM fields, and support curriculum alignment with current academic standards. The platform has also built a strong contributor network, allowing engineering faculty, graduate students, and educators to collaborate in advancing engineering education.
